Congratulations to Nick Woodard who was named the TCCAA/NJCAA Region VII Player of the Week after leading the Saluqis to conference wins over Volunteer State and Cleveland State last week! He currently ranks second in the TCCAA in scoring at 18.0 points per game.
 
Nick has led Southwest to four straight conference wins (Jackson State, Motlow State, Volunteer State and Cleveland State), averaging 21.3 points per game in those games while shooting 55.1 percent from the field and 83.3 percent from the free throw line. His 25 points in the most recent game (Cleveland State) was his 8th of the season and 4th in the past six games with 20+ points.
